摘要

本文介绍武汉邮电科学研究院光纤光缆部研制的掺铒光纤放大器（ＥＤＦＡ），及其在国产的５６５Ｍｂｉｔ／ｓ光纤数字通信系统上的实验，中继距离可达１９０ｋｍ，系统误码率＜１０—１２。

Abstract

Erbium doped fiber amplifier（EDFA） developed by Optical Fiber and Cable Department of Wuhan Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunication Sciences was used for the experiment on 565Mbit/s fiber optic digital communication system. The repeater spacing can be 190km with BER less than 10-12.
