Abstract

Network management is the basis of effective and reliable operation of alloptical communication network

and supervision of optical network is the foundation of network management. In this paper

we analyze the supervision methods of network elements in alloptical network. We realize the supervision of light source of local and remote transmitters and the control information of optical switch of OXC node through a 1.31m optical supervision channel.\=
