        摘要：<正> 武汉市政府为了加速改革开放进程,科学地管理交通,于1988年批准并投资在武汉市交通最拥挤、繁忙的汉口航空路至武昌人东门间建立交通监控光缆传输系统。该系统把闭路电视、光纤通信和电子计算机等先进技术有机地结合在一起,构成了具有电视监视功能、话音指挥功能、车辆流量检测统计功能、车辆疏导指示功能等现代化交通管理系统。

        摘要：This paper analyzes the influences on measured MFD （Mode Field Diameter） which are caused by three typical coupling states between the two fiber endfaces in measuring MFD of single mode fibers with transverse offset method. The paper also describes the mechanism and the size of the influences respectively. Based on the theoretical analyses and the measured results, the relations between the measuring errors of MFD and the deteriorations of transmission power due to each coupling state are clarified. Finally, the predominant conditions in measuring MFD are recommended.

        摘要：Approximate expressions are derived for the calculation of the birefringence and polarization mode-dispersion in bow-tie and Panda Optical fibers by averaging the corresponding material birefringence in this paper. It has been shown that the present results agree very well with the results obtained with the finiteelement method.

        摘要：A new algorithm with conditional pictureelement replenishment is proposed in this paper, which is called CRCC/CDC. The cluster coding and combination difference coding are effectively used to reduce the number of bits to be transmitted, and the new coding mode and parameter control methods have been devised to prevent buffer memory from overflow. It has been determined by computer simulated experiment that the encoded picture Quality is good and the signal to weighted Quantizing noise ratio is 45 dB at 0.2 bit/pel, which is similar to the videoconferencing signal at a bandwidth of 4 MHz to be transmitted at bit rate of 2 Mb/s. The （?）ffect due to the transmission error with this algorithm is also discussed.
