        摘要：The paper presents some basic technical considerations for planning the national long distance and high speed telecommunication trunk lines.These include:choice of operating wavelength,new design of single mode fibers,application of fiber amplifiers,application of dense wavelength division multiplex systems,requirement on new photonic devices and photonic integrated circuits.Finally,the paper briefly mentions the technical trends of transoceanic submarine optical fiber cables.

        摘要：We propose a conceptual transmultiplexer of all optical WDM to OTDM for the future soliton WDM/OTDM network system.The main modulars are semiconductor optical amplifier （SOA） based on cross gain compression that can perform wavelength conversion,synchronous and time delay modular,and optical time division multiplexer modular.The transmultiplexer is a key building block for all optical WDM/OTDM networks.

        摘要：In videoconference system,the key portion is bit rate control method,because it affects coded image quality directly.In this paper,buffer pure occupancy control algorithm is analysed and its parameter is designed starting from the principle of buffer smoothing fluctuant bit current.For its coded image quality is not good enough in buffer occupancy control algorithm,studies the buffer occupancy perceptual regulation algorithm and the bit allocation based buffer capacity control algorithm.After all,three bit rate control algorithm is compared and testified.
