摘要

本文首先讨论了光纤活动连接器的插针体端面形状结构和研磨工艺与性能指标（插入损耗和回波损耗）的关系。然后介绍了插针体端面结构要求，并给出了几种不同端面结构及研磨工艺的实验结果。

Abstract

This paper describes the relation between characteristics （insertion loss and return loss） of optical fiber connectors and the shape structure of the ferrule endface and pol ishing technology. The design requirements of the shape structure of the ferrule endface are discussed. The test results of several different shapes of the ferrule end face and polishingtechnology are given.
