摘要

交叉连接能力是 SDH系统的一项至关重要的功能指标

而交叉能力的强弱又完全依赖于交叉连接超大规模集成电路的能力。因而

武汉邮电科学研究院 ASIC中心开发了WGS1 60 8这一 1 6× 8的交叉连接超大规模集成电路

采用富士通 0 .35μm工艺

规模为2 2万门。整个设计过程应用 VHDL、VERILOG语言及 TOP- DOWN流程

并获得一次性投片成功。本文介绍了 WGS1 60 8的设计思想以及芯片的结构、特点和使用方法。

Abstract

The capability of cross connection is one of the most important guide line in SDH. It greatly depends on the design of Very Large Scale Integration（VLSI） for cross connect. So

the ASIC center in Wuhan Reserch Istitute of Posts and Telecommunications has developed the WGS1608 with Fujitsu 0.35 μm technology. （its size is 220 000 gates）

and has succeeded after the first NRE. In the design

we have used VHDL、VERILOG language

TOP DOWN flow . This text introduces the design goals

structure

feature and method of use of WGS1608.
