允许业务层通过现有的控制平面动态地向传输层申请带宽 .文中首先介绍了 MPλS网络结构

随后详细分析了 MPλS路由和波长分配方案

讨论了 MPλS局限性和相关协议及扩展的 GMPLS技术

Abstract

The development of Multiprotocol Label Switching technology and the rapid advance of core technology all optical networking produce a sort of even more tight Internet Protocol over Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing integrated scheme :Multiprotocol Lambda Switching. It combines the advantage of controlling capability of MPLS and large capacity switching and transmitting of optical switching device. It allows the service layer to dynamically apply to transmission layer for bandwidth through the existing control plane. First

this article introduces MPλS network structure

then labors MPλS routing and wavelength distributing scheme and discusses the limitation of MPλS and its related protocol including the extended GMPLS technology.
