Asynchronous FIFOs are often used to ensure the security in passing data between two different clock domains.It requires multi-asynchronous clock design techniques to safely pass data in one clock domain to another.Many FIFO design approaches have been reported but it is very difficult for us to analyze their correctness.In this paper

a new FIFO design is introduced in detail

by which data are passed between different clock domains by using Gray code pointers.
