摘要

文章介绍了光突发交换产生的背景、光突发交换网的原理和体系结构以及光突发交换体系中边缘节点的结构。主要采用计算机仿真

仿真工具是OPNET 8.1.A。仿真结果表明:若边缘节点的数据包产生速率恒定

则端到端的延迟比较固定;若边缘节点数据包的发送速率突然增大

端到端的延迟会有一些波动。

Abstract

In this paper

we introduce the background of Optical Burst Switching（OBS） generation

the principles and the system architecture of the OBS network and the structure of the edge nodes in the system.Adopting the computer simulation method with the tool of OPNET 8.1.A

we obtain the simulation results that when data packets of the edge nodes have a constant generation rate

the end-to-end delay is relatively fixed;while when the transmission rate of the edge node data packets suddenly increases

the end-to-end delay will have a certain fluctuations.
