Abstract

On the basis of the system architecture of the GMPLS-based optical burst switching（OBS） networks

this paper studies the way of introducing GMPLS into OBS and making them work with efficiency and in coordination. It focuses on the key technologies and solutions of GMPLS-based OBS networks and presents new and proper methods especially for dealing with the conflicts between the Burst Data Packets（BDP）.Finally

it points out the direction of the further study of the GMPLS-based OBS network.
