摘要

文章介绍了一种用于密集波分复用（DWDM）超长距离通信系统中远程泵浦的传输设计方案。为了得到较大的增益与较小的噪声指数

我们选择了数值孔径小、掺杂浓度低的掺铒光纤

同时光路中还采用了对信号光全透、对泵浦光全反的二色镜来提高泵浦光的利用率。通过优化的光路设计

我们得到了增益>17 dB、噪声指数<7 dB的远程泵浦放大器。

Abstract

This paper introduces a transmission design scheme for the remote pumping in DWDM ultra-long-haul communication systems.In order to obtain high gain and low noise figure

we adopt Er-doped fibers

which are characteristic of small numerical aperture and low doping concentration

and use a dichroscope that reflect all pumping light and transmits all signal light to increase the utilization ratio of the pumped light.Thanks to the optimized lightpath design

we obtain a remote pumping amplifier with a gain of >17 dB and noise figure of <7 dB.
