Research on differential pressure FBG sensor static hydraulic properties
On the basis of analyzing the sensing principle of differential pressure Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG) sensors
its static differential pressure sensing properties are investigated by using a hydraulic tester and a Q8384 spectrometer and the errors of the experimental results analyzed. The results indicate that the FBG sensibility coefficient is 3 pm/kPa in the pressure range of 0-0.35 MPa and the FBG wavelength varies linearly with the differential pressure with little hysteresis effect
proving that this sensor can be used in hydraulic systems for flow measurement.
