Abstract

Packet Transport Network（PTN） is a unified packet-switching-based

connection-oriented multi-service transport technology. This paper introduces the services & network features of a radio & TV MAN and studies its adaptability to this technology for PTN-based construction. In view of the present conditions and main problems in Handan Radio & TV MAN

it proposes and describes in detail a PTN-based solution to its transformation and summarizes the advantages of such transformation

i.e.satisfying the diversified requirements in terms of network scale

structure and capacity when the enterprise services are growing in high speed.
