摘要

针对突发模式光模块在系统应用中需要快速响应光探测电流的变化并维持光功率恒定的问题

设计了一种用于突发模式的光通信激光驱动器的APC（自动功率控制）系统。该系统采用DSP（数字信号处理）控制

能快速建立偏置电流

在全温度范围内保持发射光功率和消光比稳定;也能快速响应突发信号

在2ns内关断和打开输出偏置电流

满足EPON（以太网无源光网络）突发系统的需求。

Abstract

As it is necessary to fast respond the variations of optical detection current and maintain constant optical power for the applications of burst-mode optical modules in the system

this paper designs an Automatic Power Control（APC）system for the burst-mode optical communication laser driver.Controlled by Digital Signal Processing（DSP）

this system can fast set up output bias current

keeping the transmitting optical power and extinction ratio constant over the whole range of temperature.In the burst mode

it can cut off or start up the output bias current in 2ns

satisfying the requirements of the burst-mode EPON system.
