This paper proposes a novel Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG)-based two-way transmission tunable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer(OADM)
describes the principle of its multiplexing/demultiplexing and verifies its structural design and theoretical analysis by using the Optisystem software.Simulation results show that the sidemode suppression ratio of the drop wavelength is about 20 dB
that this device is characteristic of high flexibility and high utilization ratio and two lines in WDM systems are mutually redundant
thus improving the system fault tolerance and expected to be applied in optical networks.
