摘要

家庭网关设备的功能和网络定位仅从运营商的基本需求出发

结合运营商网络基础

包括运营商的业务平台和管理平台

而对通过家庭网关接入的流量均统称为数据业务;同时

随着智能路由器和OTT（"过顶"）业务的兴起

家庭互联网业务和应用的入口被互联网企业持续渗透

运营商管道化趋势加剧。针对以上问题

文章从家庭网关和智能路由器在功能和定位上的异同入手

分析了二者融合的方式

提出了运营商通过智能型家庭网关进行入口竞争的可行性。

Abstract

At present

the functions of Home Gateway Unite（HGU）and network positioning are oriented only to the basic requirements of the operator and adapted to the operator networks

including their business and management platforms

and all the traffic flows accessed through the home gateway are generally called data traffic.However

with the rise of smart routers and OTT services

the residential internet services and application entrance are rapidly and continuously penetrated by internet corporations and the pipeline trend of the operators is intensified.In view of the existing circumstance

this paper compares the similarities and differences between the home gateways and the smart routers in functions and positioning

analyzes the mode of their convergence and discusses the feasibility for operators to partake in entrance competitions by smart home gateways.
