摘要

针对日益增长的以太网带宽需求

提出一种四阶脉冲幅度调制（PAM4）的400Gbit/s外形封装可插拔（CFP8）光收发模块的解决方案。阐述了400Gbit/s标准主要测试指标、技术方案、CFP8的基本原理和结构框图

通过直接调制激光器和电吸收调制激光器两种方案对比

测试得到了优良的光眼图和电眼图

表明PAM4CFP8光模块是实现400Gbit/s以太网传输的良好解决方案

在高速光通信系统中具有广阔的应用前景。

Abstract

In view of the growing Ethernet bandwidth requirements

this paper proposes a kind of 400 Gbit/s PAM4 CFP8 optical transceiver module.This paper first introduces the technical solutions and the main technical parameters in 400 Gbit/s standard.Then it describes the basic principle of PAM4 CFP8 optical transceiver module.The experiment results show good optical and electrical eye diagrams

which indicate that PAM4 CFP8 optical module is a good solution to 400 Gbit/s Ethernet transmission and may have broad application prospects in future high-speed optical communication system.
