摘要

对用波分复用技术扩容本地光纤网进行了较详细的经济成本分析

得出如下结论 :环路节点距离较短时

采用 WDM与直接增加光缆相比不节省投资 ;环路节点距离一定

WDM的光通路数多

节省成本 ;若 WDM设备价格下降速度不能跟上光缆价格下降速度

则难以节省成本。

Abstract

The cost of using WDM to expand local area optical network is analyzed. In the case of shorter distances between the loop nodes

the cost of network expansion through WDM isn’t be less than that of expansion through installation of new cables. But with fixed distances between nodes

the cost will decrease with the increase of number of optical paths.In addition

it will be difficult to save cost if the price of WDM equipments can’t decrease simultaneously with that of optical cables.
