摘要

高速直接调制半导体激光器

是目前城域网和高速以太网的关键器件.文章综述了影响高速半导体激光器的调制带宽的各种因素

并探讨了目前所实现的提高半导体激光器调制带宽的各种方法.

Abstract

High-speed directly modulated laser diodes are key components in local area network （LAN） and metropolitan area network（MAN）. This paper talks about the factors that affect the bandwidth of the laser diodes. In addition

some methods for improving the modulation bandwidth of the laser diodes are discussed.
