Abstract

This paper represented relationship between ASON and GMPLS and analysed the hierarchical architecture of GMPLS. It also introduced the protocols of signaling

routing and link management based on practical application. Besides these

the implementation of GMPLS for ASON control plane and LSP creation were introduced. Lastly

this paper outlined the applications of ASON and some questions end.
