Abstract

Multi-Service Transport Platform（MSTP） can transport multi-traffic on SDH network.Routing and protection module is the core module of the network management software.Because of the constraint of cost

there are possibly several kinds of equipments in a SDH network. It makes the routing algorithm more complicated.Routing and protection algorithm of such complicated SDH network is studied in this paper.Algorithm for circuit traffic and data traffic is proposed. The algorithm has been the core algorithm of our SDH network management system.
