Abstract

A study on the management technologies for the future home networks is presented in this paper.Normal network operation is not possible without effective management and the mode of management for home networks definitely differs from that for the conventional networks owing to their application environment and users. In this article

a dual-management domain mode combining SNMP-based public network management and Web-technology-based intra-home network management are described

their respective requirements on management technologies presented and an implementation scheme given.
