（Bandwidth on De-mand

Abstract

With the explosive growth of data traffic

how to utilize the precious bandwidth resources in the optical network has been the focus of attention of the network operators. As a new service in ASON

SBS can be considered as a specific realization of the traditional BoD.It can effectively save the bandwidth resources for the operators and reduce the expenses for the users. This paper expatiates on the management mode

realization and social values of SBS in ASON.
