摘要

偏振模色散（PMD）是对高速长距离光纤传输系统影响较大的一个因素

文章论述了PMD对光纤通信系统的影响

建立了光纤通信系统中PMD影响的理论模型

在分析单通道一阶补偿方法的局限性的同时

对高阶PMD及其补偿问题进行了分析与讨论

提出了二阶PMD补偿方案

并对该方案进行了研究。

Abstract

Polarization Mode Dispersion（PMD） is one of the factors that has fairly large impacts on high-speed long-haul fiber-optic transmission systems.This article expounds the influences of PMD on the fiber-optic communication system

establishes the theoretical model

analyzes and discusses the higher-order PMD and its compensation while analyzing the limitations of the single channel 1st-order compensation method

presents 2nd-order PMD compensation method and conducts the research on this method.
