Abstract

An MCU-based fuzzy control technique for fiber drawing machines is developed. With the laser caliper gauge as the feedback component and the MCU as the actual carrier of the fuzzy controller

the expert system-based control rules are formulated

realizing the closed-loop control over the drawing machines. The application results indicate that the control system operates as required and has good values in practical applications and popularization.
