This paper describes in detail the manufacturing process of and budget for a specially structured 3 dB hybrid

and presents a design scheme for the approximately stripline-structured 3 dB hybrid so as to make it better directional and easier to manufacture.It operates from 800 MHz to 2 500 MHz and supports fairly large power capacity.Thanks to its new structure

it has smaller volume

lower insertion loss

higher directionality and broader bandwidth

and is easier to manufacture and test.
