摘要

文章作者设计并仿真了一种卷积码与8OPPM（重叠脉冲位置调制）相结合的TCM（网格编码调制）系统。该系统能够在不降低带宽利用率的前提下改善OPPM系统性能。计算机仿真结果表明:该系统相对未编码的4PPM（脉冲位置调制）系统可以取得1

dB的编码增益。

Abstract

This article designs and simulates a kind of Trellis Coded Modulation（TCM） system

in which the convolutional code is combined with Overlapping Pulse-Position Modulation（8OPPM）.This system can improve the OPPM system performance at no penalty in bandwidth utilization ratio.The simulation results indicate that the system can obtain 1～3 dB coding gain in comparison with the uncoded Pulse Position Modulation（4PPM）.
