摘要

文章阐述了光模块突发接收误码测试的基本原理。根据吉比特无源光网络（GPON）系统上行数据的特点

提出了一种新的突发数据提取方法及其关键技术

并设计了实现突发测试的逻辑框图、逻辑时序图及电路。采用该测试系统对GPON光线路终端（OLT）光模块进行了测试

结果表明该系统操作简单

可靠性高

能够满足GPON OLT光模块性能测试的需要。

Abstract

In this paper

the fundamental principle of optical module burst-mode BER tests is described.Based on the characteristics of the upstream data in GPON systems

a novel method and the key technologies for the extraction of burst data are presented and the logic block diagram and time schedule diagrams and circuits for implementing the tests designed.The GPON OLT optical module is tested with this testing system and the results show that this system is featured in simple operation and high reliability and meet the requirements for the test of GPON OLT optical modules.
