This paper simulates and analyzes the transmission characteristics of Non-Line-Of-Sight(NLOS)ultraviolet(UV)light in radiation fog environment on the basis of a multiple scattering model by using the Monte-Carlo method. Then it selects a UV light with a wavelength of 260 nm and analyzes the relationship between the path losses and geometric dimensions of UV in atmospheric transmission channels and the communication distances in radiation fog environment when visibility is given
obtaining the most optimized geometric parameters by simulation and analysis.Furthermore
it analyzes the relationship between the UV light path loss and the visibility in different communication distances. The results show that when the communication distance and the transceiver system geometric dimension parameters are known
there exists a value of visibility to enable the path loss of the UV light transmission to be the minimum.
