        摘要：The paper is to review the recent progress of large capacity optical fiber transmission systems, based on the post deadline papers of OFC recently held in March 2001. It begins with a brief introduction. Then, the paper summarizes the technology details of 10 Tbit/s systems and 1～3 Tbit/s systems respectirely. Finally, the paper offers general comments on the progress trends of these systems for our reference.

        摘要：OTN which is located in optical layer of transport network should satisfy the relevant requirements of jitter performance in order to guarantee a proper quality of the transmitted signals, it is same as PDH and SDH network. In this paper the jitter and wander performance requirements of NNI and equipment interface of OTN, including maximum limits of jitter and wander, jitter transfer characteristics and minimum equipment tolerance to jitter and wander would be introduced briefly. At last, the Hypothetical Reference Model （HRM） used to obtain the jitter accumulation of OTN and the jitter accumulation algorithm has been described.

        摘要：Existing interconnect technologies have failed to keep pace with computer evolution and the exponential increase of Internet, and it lead to new bottleneck in data services. InfiniBand can improve this bottleneck. This paper describes the origin of InfiniBand, and describes InfiniBand architecture, physical topology, protocol layers and related main technologies. At the end of this paper comparison is made between InfiniBand and PCI technology.

        摘要：This paper puts its emphasis on the principles and methods of measuring the PMD of single mode optical fiber by coherent interferings, makes the online measurement of single mode optical fiber G.652 and G.655 produced by YOFC, and gives the series line value of the PMD of these two kinds of optical fibers,according to the data of the measurement.The result shows,that the PMDS of fibers of YOFC meet the standard.

        摘要：In this paper, the high temperature properties of 1.3 μm laser diode are discussed. The reverse mesa RWG structure is introduced into 1.3 μm AlGaInAs/InP MQW LD and applied to fabricate the uncooled laser diode with high performance and improved temperature characteristics. The threshold current as low as 6 mA, and characteristics temperature as high as 95 K between 25 ℃ and 85 ℃ are obtained, which are the best results in the literatures until now.
