摘要

【目的】

随着互联网应用和宽带业务的爆炸式发展，接入网的带宽需求急剧增加。无源光网络（PON）近年来发展迅速，其作为目前宽带接入网中最具应用前景的主流商用技术，需要有更高的数据速率、更广的覆盖范围和更多的终端用户。文章通过对超100 Gbit/s高速PON的技术路线、关键技术及实现方案进行分析，为未来PON系统的实现提供技术支持和指导。

【方法】

文章首先阐述了未来PON在容量和成本方面的需求，其次介绍了超100 Gbit/s高速PON的技术路线，包括传统的直调直检（IMDD）路线和将长距离中的相干技术下沉到PON网络两个路线方向。并分别阐述了两个方向所需的关键技术，包括数字信号处理、简化相干、突发模式接收、超密集波分复用（UDWDM）和数字子载波复用（DSCM）等技术。最后，根据目前国内外对高速PON的最新研究，对高速IMDD PON和高速相干PON的先进系统方案进行了阐述介绍，论证了超100 Gbit/s PON采用各种最新技术的实际实验效果。

【结果】

文章通过应用超100 Gbit/s PON的关键技术，实现了多种超100 Gbit/s PON系统，既满足了大容量需求，也兼顾了多用户需求，实验结果也证明了相干技术应用于PON是未来的有力发展方向。

【结论】

实验证明，相干技术应用于超100 Gbit/s PON能够有效提升网络容量、功率预算及频谱资源利用率，同时也为PON的持续演进提供了空间，是未来PON发展的重要手段。

Abstract

【Objective】

Driven by the explosive growth of Internet applications and broadband services

the bandwidth demand for access networks has soared. Passive Optical Networks (PONs) have advanced rapidly in recent years; as the most commercially viable mainstream technology for broadband access

they now require higher data rates

wider coverage

and support for more end-users. This paper analyzes the technical roadmap

key technologies

and implementation schemes for ultra-high-speed PONs beyond 100 Gbit/s

providing technical support and guidance for the realization of next-generation PON systems.

【Methods】

The paper first outlines the future capacity and cost requirements for PONs. It then presents the technical roadmaps for beyond-100 Gbit/s high-speed PON

covering both the conventional Intensity Modulation/Direct Detection (IMDD) approach and the emerging strategy of migrating coherent technologies-traditionally used in longhaul systems-down to the PON domain. For each direction

the key enabling technologies are detailed

including digital-signal processing

simplified coherent transceivers

burst-mode receivers

Ultra-Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (UDWDM)

and Digital Sub-Carrier Multiplexing (DSCM). Finally

drawing on the latest domestic and international research on high-speed PONs

the paper reviews state-of-the-art system implementations for both high-speed IMDD PON and high-speed coherent PON

demonstrating the practical experimental performance achieved when the newest techniques are employed for 100 Gbit/s-plus PON systems.

【Results】

By leveraging key technologies for beyond-100 Gbit/s PON

the paper implements several such systems that concurrently satisfy high-capacity demands and multi-user requirements. The experimental results further validate that coherent technology represents a powerful future direction for PON networks.

【Conclusion】

Experiments demonstrate that applying coherent technology to beyond-100 Gbit/s PON can effectively boost network capacity

power budget

and spectral efficiency

while also providing room for the continued evolution of PON. It stands as a pivotal enabler for the future development of PON.
